These Terms of Service cover your use of Qorvia – QR Inspector. Using the app means you accept them.

Inspection, not endorsement

Qorvia shows you what a QR code contains and leaves the decision to you. Displaying a web address, a network or a contact is not a recommendation to trust it, and the app deliberately never opens a decoded destination by itself.

What the risk flags mean

The warnings Qorvia raises — a link shortener, a punycode host, an unencrypted HTTP address, a redirect that changes host, an open Wi‑Fi network — are mechanical checks on the decoded text. They catch common tricks; they are not proof that anything is safe, and their absence is not a clean bill of health. Verify unfamiliar content by other means before acting on it.

Fair use

Scan, create and share only content you are entitled to use. You stay responsible for the destinations you decide to open and for any QR code you generate and pass on to other people.

Results depend on conditions

Recognition quality, image sharpness, camera focus, network availability and the behaviour of remote servers all affect what the app can report. Decoding and QR creation keep working offline; the redirect check does not. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ownership

The app, its interface, artwork and code belong to their authors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You get permission to use the app for its intended purpose. Features may change between versions.

Disclaimer

Qorvia is provided as is and as available, to the extent the law permits. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.

Changes and contact

Updated terms take effect with the version they ship in. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
